ClearwisePrivacy Policy
Clearwise ("we") runs three guided AI conversation tools: Compass, Heart to Heart and From Thought to Action. This policy explains what happens to your information. The short version: we don't store your conversations. They are saved only on your device, encrypted, and become unreadable automatically 72 hours after your last activity.

2. Your conversation
- On your device: the conversation is kept in your browser's local storage, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The encryption key is held on our server, not on your device.
- Automatic erasure: the key is erased from our server 72 hours after your last activity. After that the conversation on your device can no longer be decrypted by anyone, including us, and is removed the next time you open the site.
- Delete now: the lock button on every tool page lets you delete everything immediately, on your device and on our server.
- On our server: we do not write the content of your conversation to any database, file or log. It passes through our server only to be sent to the AI provider and to stream the reply back to you.
- AI provider: to write replies, your messages are sent over an encrypted connection to Anthropic PBC (USA), which provides the Claude AI model. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models. Anthropic may retain API inputs and outputs for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring, and longer where the law requires it or where content is flagged for violating its usage policies.
- Your summary: at the end of a journey you can download a summary file. That file is yours; we don't keep a copy.
3. Other information we process
- Session record: a random session identifier, the encryption key, a count of free replies used, and your country (derived from your IP address, to show the right payment option). Erased 72 hours after your last activity.
- Abuse prevention: a one-way hash of your IP address combined with the date, used to limit how many new sessions can be opened per day. We don't store your IP address. Erased after 24 hours.
- Payments: payments are handled by Grow (Meshulam) for Israeli cards and by Paddle or Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record, for other cards. They process your payment details under their own privacy policies. We receive only the order status and a transaction reference, and we never see your card number. Order records are erased after 2 days; the access pass (which tool you paid for and how many replies you used) after 60 days.
- Payment automation: for Israeli payments, order details (order number, tool, amount; never conversation content) pass through Make.com to create the payment page and confirm payment.
- Hosting: the site runs on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Cookies: we use no advertising or analytics cookies. Local storage is used only for the features described here (your conversation, language, consent and access pass).
4. Why we process it (legal bases)
- To provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract).
- Conversations may include sensitive information, such as health, relationships or beliefs. We process it only with your explicit consent, which you give before starting and can withdraw at any time with "Delete everything now".
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure (legitimate interests).
- To meet tax and accounting obligations for payments (legal obligation).
5. International transfers
Anthropic and Cloudflare may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Israel's Privacy Protection Law or US state laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Because we don't keep your conversation, the quickest way to delete it is the "Delete everything now" button. For anything else, write to . 7. Age
Clearwise is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly provide it to anyone younger.
8. Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), encryption of saved conversations on your device, keys that expire automatically, and minimal data retention. No system is perfectly secure; anyone who can open your device's browser can see a conversation while its key is still active, so use "Delete everything now" on a shared device.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will show a notice on the site.
